So, as my computer nears the end of it’s life cycle (We are talking S.L.O.W) and I fall a little behind on blogging, I thought I would give you some blog food and address the issue at hand. I’ve been tagged. I can no longer avoid it.
The rules:
1. Link to the person who tagged you.
2. Post the rules here.
3. Share 7 random or weird facts about yourself.
4. Tag 7 random people at the end of the post, linking to them.
5. Leave a comment on their blog so that they know they’ve been tagged.
1. The lovely and talented Jennifer Davis is responsible for the post.
2. See above.
3. Random or weird facts…:
a. I LOVE pocky. hey are these stick pretzels dipped in chocolate you can get at chinese markets, and I like to dip them in green tee ice cream, and have my way with them.
b. I learned everything I know about photography searching through photos on flickr.
c. I was an actress in an Emmy award winning Internet Sitcom (You may already know that, though!)
d. I find it really uncomfortable to call my Husband by his real name, which is Andrew. Names he has been called in the past: Oh Leslie, Husby, Husbone, Bones, Regina Niles, and of course, Jim. He sometimes is very confused when I send him a serious email addressed to Jim. Some times I even sign it Jim, too. For effect.
e. When I lived in LA early last year, I was very sad and lonely. I wasn’t allowed to have animals where I was, or my Husband, so I volunteered at the local animal shelter to fill the void. I still missed my home in New York terribly – but it was the best thing ever! I saved kittens from certain death, I helped shave a dog’s bum, and I became friends with a morbidly obese cocker spaniel, and also a wonderful girl named Freddie, who had been living at the shelter for 2 years (dog not a person). Feral cats are scary.
f. I am deathly afraid of heights, but sometimes I will involve myself in stressful and high up situations to get a good shot. I usually make the decision while I’m safely on the ground, and regret my decision later, until I get an amazing shot of something.
g. I shot my first wedding on May 26th, 2007 in Bristol Pennsylvania for $150, for Dana and Chris, who will forever hold a special place in my heart!
5. I tag!
I’ve got some other things to do at the moment, but I’ll keep you posted!
