Allison and Scott were wed at the Hotel Hana Maui, which I have to say was one of the most beautiful and magical places I’ve ever stayed. You get this sense at the resort that it’s really the whole town. I find that many resort-type places seperate you from the local culture and people, but the Hotel Hana is ingrained in the people, history, culture and absolute beauty of Hana, and of Maui. Hana is just a small little jungle down on the east end of the island. As long as the flight is from NYC, I always love returning to these islands I spent the summers of my youth frolicking in. And to be there with a couple of people as wonderful as Allison and Scott and the people they love the most was truly a gift. EPIC.
